Qurbani Project in Bangladesh

Qurbani Project in Bangladesh

“(The righteous are those) who feed the poor, the orphan and the captive for the love of God, saying: ‘We feed you for the sake of God Alone; we seek from you neither reward nor thanks.”(Quran, 76:8-9)

Qurbani means sacrifice. During the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims from around the world sacrifice an animal (either a cow, goat, sheep or camel), in accordance to the tradition of the Prophet Ibrahim (upon him be peace). Every year, Global One implement Qurbani project throughout the country. The project comes to help and make happy poor, needy and needy families, orphans and other marginalized groups during the blessed Eid al-Adha, where sacrificial meat is distributed to needy families to beneficiary families all over Bangladesh.
