Raihan Mahmood Kadery

Country Manager

Raihan Mahmood Kadery joined Global One in April 2016. He is an expert in project monitoring & evaluation and development of projects’ monitoring & evaluation frameworks and ToRs for evaluations. He is directly engaged with the design and delivery of projects in the areas of Global Health, WASH, Livelihood and Food Security. Previously in Netherlands, Raihan was a member of the team jointly formed by the European Commission and the World Bank Group that developed a performance based funding strategy for the Dutch government. In China, Raihan was responsible for designing research methodology for National Academy of Education Administration China assigned by the Government of China. Raihan holds a joint Masters in Research and Innovation in Higher Education from four finest universities in Austria, Finland, China and Germany as a full scholar of the European Commission. Previously, he completed his BSc (Hons) Management and Business Administration from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

Md. Ramzan Ali

Head of Logistics & Programme Implementation

Mr. Ramzan Ali is a development professional with over 23 years of experience with different International, Government of Bangladesh, and Private sectors like Muslim Aid-UK Bangladesh, Bangladesh Post Office, and British America Tobacco Company in the Admin, transport and logistics department. He has worked closely with key partners, government officials, and different donors during performing different assignment. He has worked in Emergency Response activities after Cyclone SIDR in 2007, Cyclone AILA in 2009, Dhaka Flood in 2004, the Cold Wave and Rohingya Crisis project of ECHO, USAID, WFP, FAO, IDB, ROTA, ACT NOW Children Fund, UMCOR, etc. He has excellent creativity and ability to work with limited resources and is an excellent Team player. He has good knowledge of Computer operating systems. Mr Ramzan Ali is fluent in Bengali and has limited knowledge of English. At Global One, he leads the Programme and Logistics team to ensure the smooth implementation of projects in Bangladesh throughout the year.

Mst. Tanjena Akter

Head of External Relations & Communications

Mst. Tanjena Akter has been working with Global One since 2017. She has over 12 years of experience with different national and international NGOs. She is currently the Head of External Relations & Communications at Global One, where she oversees all aspects of internal & external communications and provides leadership & supervision to the communications team. She has extensive knowledge and vast experience in the fields of gender-based violence, human trafficking, migration, human rights, child protection, skill development, education, good governance, livelihoods, health, persons with disabilities, right-based programs, sexual reproductive health, women's empowerment, social safety net programs, disaster risk reduction, and training. She holds an M.S.S (Master’s) degree in Economics from Jagannath University, Bangladesh.

Md. Rakibul Islam

Finance Manager

Md. Rakibul Islam has over 14 years experience in the development sector. He completed the C A Course in 1997. He joined Global One in 2024 having experience in different international development organizations. He oversees the Finance and Operations division of Global One, Bangladesh Country Office ensuring that all regulatory financial reporting complies with the BAS (Bangladesh Accounting Standards) and IAS (International Accounting Standards). Besides this, he has special expertise on TAX & VAT/GST management as a certified ITP (Income Tax Practitioner) from NBR (National Board of Revenue). He has a very clear knowledge of IAS, BAS, IFRS, BFRS, and GAAP. He has experience working with INGO (Islamic Relief, Care Bangladesh, Action Aid, Plan International) as the lead internal auditor.

Mohammad Ayaj Uddin

Program Manager

Mohammad Ayaj Uddin is a dedicated development professional with over a decade of extensive experience in program management, project planning, and implementation across various sectors. He holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Jahangirnagar University, with impressive academic achievements. With a robust background in managing large-scale humanitarian and development projects, Mr. Ayaj has made significant contributions to emergency response efforts during the Rohingya Crisis in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasanchar, Cyclone MOCHA, and Cyclone Hamoon. His career includes pivotal roles in renowned NGOs, working experience with IOM, GAC, USAID, DFAT, MAUSA and BRAC. Mr. Ayaj fluent in Bengali, English, Urdu, Arabic and Farsi brings exceptional communication skills and cultural awareness to his role. He is committed to empowering communities, promoting gender-sensitive approaches, and ensuring safeguarding practices are upheld at all levels of project implementation. At Global One, Mr. Ayaj excels in developing and executing project implementation strategies, CSR advocacy & fundraising, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of project activities. His leadership skills, combined with his strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, have consistently resulted in successful project outcomes and positive impacts on the communities served.

Mahbub Hasan Shamim

Admin & Logistics Officer

Mahbub Hasan Shamim joined Global One in 2023 having experience in different development organizations. He oversees the HR & Admin division of Global One, Bangladesh Country Office ensuring the efficient administration of employee lifecycle management for all employees. His contribution includes maintaining the procurement process and providing logistics support. He has over 12 years of experience working with various national NGOs.

Sumiya Akther

Resource Mobilization Officer

Sumiya Akther is a passionate team member who works as a Resource Mobilization Officer in Global One Bangladesh Country Office. She is responsible for the management of fundraising, building an increasingly & diversified network of resource partners & communications staff, coordination of donor engagement, and all fundraising & proposal writing. Having graduated from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Agricultural Economics, she is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Development and Poverty Studies. She has research interests in the areas of poverty, child protection, women's rights, and social problems.

Akib Jaber

Programme Officer

Akib Jaber is a programme management expert. He joined Global One in 2021. He oversees the programme development, assists in the planning, implementation, monitoring & manages projects. He also ensures the organization's activities and programmes aligned with a foundation or nonprofit's goals and mission statement. With the excellent academic achievement, he has completed his graduation and post-graduation in Economics from Jahangirnagar University.

Sadia Sultana

Admin & Logistics Officer

Sadia Sultana is an energetic young personnel who recently joined Global One Bangladesh team. She has completed her graduation & post-graduation in Economics from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur. She has an excellent academic background and active involvement in extracurricular activities. At Global One, she is responsible for the compliance activities and smooth conduction of procurement & logistic activities, while providing efficient utilization of resources in accordance with applicable standards.
